Grzegorz Siwy Pawłowski – an exceptionally ambitious and charismatic sculptor, for whom sculpture has, for two decades, been not only a way of life but above all a form of personal expression—a space where passion meets the raw substance of metal, wood, and stone. He works with natural materials, drawing inspiration from nature and the world of fantasy.
Grzegorz “Siwy” Pawłowski previously worked with street theaters, an experience that undoubtedly influenced his way of thinking about art and artistic expression. His works often transcend the boundaries of traditional media, taking on the character of an almost theatrical spectacle, where gesture, space, and emotion play as important a role as the material itself.
For some time, he has been devoting himself to creating large-scale forms—among them the eight-meter-high Spirit of the Mountains, welded from steel and installed in Karpacz; a massive galloping horse; an eight-meter knight by Lake Constance; and a wooden Trojan horse in the artists’ village of Pławna. The artist has also completed his first sculpture series, The Truth of Matter, which premiered at Vlask Gallery in Belgium.
