Dominik Jasiński

“His great advantage is the efficiency and this painter’s ‘ear’. At the same time, despite bold brush strokes, his painting retains the linearity of drawing” - Andrzej Pągowski   Zdjęcie artysty

More information

Dominik Jasiński – born in 1981 in Rzeszów, painter, graphic artist, poster designer and illustrator. One of the most valued artists of the young generation. Graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.

Although the artist's work has a multi-dimensional dimension, he is primarily fascinated by the human body and its deformation – he devoted his diploma thesis and several publications to this topic. He is considered a bard of female beauty. It is THEM that constitute the main motif of his work and it is their portrayal that he devotes himself to with such great pleasure.

Jasiński's paintings are energetic, an explosion of color with woven floral and folk motifs, in which the influence of Art Nouveau and Young Poland can be seen.

The most important thing for him is creating, painting, experimenting with technique, and above all breaking barriers, taking risks. “When I stand in front of the easel, the rest of the world doesn’t matter to me, it’s just me and my palette, even food ceases to exist.”

Apart from painting, the artist is involved in initiatives promoting young Polish artists – the “Jasiński & Friends” project. He is also active in commercial activities, collaborating and creating for many companies – EMPIK, RESERVED, TATUUM….

Dominik Jasiński has delighted the artistic community, authorities in the art world, gained critical acclaim, and the number of loyal fans of his painting is still growing. In 2016, his painting “Q8” was published in British VOGUE on the occasion of the magazine’s 100th anniversary.

He has had nearly 50 exhibitions in Poland and around the world, and his works are in many private collections in Poland and abroad.

The artist currently lives and works in Portugal.
