Russian propaganda altered Paweł Kuczyński’s artwork from the cover of "WPROST"

Russian websites manipulated the 2022 WPROST magazine cover featuring a drawing by Paweł Kuczyński, turning it into a piece of propaganda.

The original artwork by Paweł Kuczyński was dedicated to Ukrainian defenders resisting Russian aggression. It depicted Ukrainian soldiers sitting in a trench that symbolically transformed into a holiday table, at which a lone mother with two children was seated.

Meanwhile, the Russian website Rostov Glavniy, without scruples or respect for copyright, altered the drawing into an illustration featuring Russian flags and added greetings for its own soldiers.
